Hey friends! It’s been forever since I’ve shared a beauty post so I’m really excited to be sharing these products I’ve been using to keep my skin hydrated now that it’s getting colder outside. While my skin is very oily, in the fall and winter I tend to get some dry patches on my nose and cheeks and my lips get extremely dry and cracked if I don’t take good care of them. Winter is just the worst.
I’m still perfecting my fall/winter skincare routine, but I’ve found some great products that are keeping my skin hydrated and supple, while I sleep! It doesn’t get much easier than that.
I started using the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask and the Lineage Water Sleeping Mask last winter and loved them both so much I had to pick them up again for this year. I just recently started incorporating the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Night Cream and so far it’s been the perfect compliment to the other two products.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

I purchased the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask last fall on a whim one day in Sephora when I was desperate for something that would help my dry cracked chapped lips. Chapstick just wasn’t cutting it!
This is a lip mask you generously apply right before bedtime. When you wake up, your lips are perfectly plump (no more wrinkles!) and full of moisture. It’s like a temporary lip filler without the needles (for 20 bucks I’ll take it!) It really does work overnight and is worth every penny. While I recommend this for the fall/winter you can absolutely use it all year around. I apply it 3 nights a week and the small jar lasts me about 6 months. Much longer than you’d think! I haven’t tried the other flavors. I really like the original! This would also make a great Christmas gift!
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

I was very intrigued by the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask last year. All I could think about was “hmm, this sounds nice, but how in the world am I going to sleep with this mask on without making a mess?!” Surprisingly, it dries fairly fast and if you can manage to fall asleep on your back it doesn’t make much of a mess.
This water sleeping mask delivers an intense amount of hydration quickly. Basically, you can fall asleep with super dry skin and wake up glowing! It has the most calming scent, so you’ll also be falling asleep more relaxed. I will apply this to just my dry patches and they are cleared up by the morning. However, you can apply it to your entire face if you are dry allover! Tip: Put this in your fridge for a few minutes and it feels so good when you apply the cold mask to your face!
Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Night Cream

I’ve been using the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Night Cream for a couple of months now and am absolutely loving it! I was hesitant to try it because it seems more for dry skin but I have been surprised at how it didn’t seem to make me oilier. I can’t say it made my skin less oily either, but I have noticed a huge difference in the overall radiance and freshness of my skin when I wake up in the morning. The antioxidants have made a difference in calming my redness as well!
A little bit goes a long way with this product. You really don’t need much! It’s not greasy and because of the lotus addition it smells amazing. If you use this every night you’ll get about 3 months out of the jar.
What products are you using to keep your skin hydrated this fall and winter?
