Favorite $5 Beauty Product for Dark Circles
Wow, long time no talk guys! I took a week off from blogging due to Chicago getting 14 inches of snow + me being sick with a sinus infection. Does the weather ever effect your creativity + inspiration? It totally does for me! It’s hard to take pictures in the snow let alone find the motivation to style an outfit. Thankfully, I’m out of that rut now!
I’m really excited for todays post because this Sephora pearl eye mask is a product that I have been religiously using for about 6 months now. I picked it up on a whim one day and little did I know an obsession was starting. Hope you all enjoy my favorite $5 beauty product to combat dark circles!
The Dirty Details.
The pearl eye mask aims to brighten and minimize the appearance of dark circles and fine lines around the eye area for a more even and radiant eye contour.
– white pearl to brighten and unify
– broccoli extract for brightening
Why I Love It.
I have been using heavy concealer under my eyes for forever trying to hide my dark circles. They aren’t just puffy, but the area under my eyes is a blue-ish purple color. The first time I tried this eye mask, I instantly noticed a difference when I took it off. The dark circle color under my eyes was hardly noticeable + I was amazed. This mask was only $5 how good it have been? I buy several of these every trip I take to Sephora now and I use one about once a week.
I also love how much of the eye area it covers as you can see in my selfie to the left! It has a very cooling feeling when you apply it and when you take it off you rub the rest of the product in and it absorbs quickly.
It’s so moisturizing! I don’t really have a problem with dry under eyes, but if you do you’ll love this. I do however notice a difference when I apply under eye concealer after I use this mask. The product looks smoother on my skin and it blends easier. I still use concealer after I use this mask just because I like to highlight my under eye area even though I technically don’t need it!
The only con with this product is that the results don’t last longer than two days. This unfortunately isn’t a permanent solution, but for $5 I’m okay with that. I personally try to use it once a week because I love the results so much, but would be great for one-time use like a special event!
For $5 this product is definitely worth trying if dark circles is something you struggle with! Sephora also makes a pearl face mask and pearl sleeping mask that I am going to be trying next. I mean if the eye mask makes my under eyes glow, the face version should make my entire face glow right?!
