Holiday Bar Cart

I have been so excited to share my holiday bar cart with you guys! I’ve known since summer that I wanted to do a hot chocolate themed bar cart for the holidays and I love how it turned out. I’ve never really been into Winter alcoholic beverages, I’m a pretty strict wine and margarita gal ;). With that being said, I was pretty limited on ideas!

My bar cart posts are my most popular posts on my blog, which is totally unexpected but really exciting to me. I love fashion and beauty, but to be honest, the budget friendly decor looks I do have to be my favorite. I take a lot of pride in making my home look nice knowing I didn’t have to spend a fortune to do it! Bar carts are such a fun piece to have in a home, and I always try to have mine decorated for daily use. No fancy dinner parties over here. Let’s be real for a second. I need this bar cart to be functional for my Tuesday night Hallmark Christmas movie binge watching parties for myself. Are you even watching a Hallmark Christmas movie if you don’t have hot chocolate in your hand? Alas, this is how my hot chocolate holiday bar cart was born. Thank you Hallmark Christmas movies for the inspo.

Once again, Target really helped me get this bar cart holiday ready. My napkins and sign came from the dollar spot in Target, and the decanter is also from Target but not a dollar spot find! I got these mason jars a while ago at a really cute thrift store down in Arkansas. I knew when I bought these that I would use them for a future bar cart theme. How cool are these mugs? We went to Christkindlemarket at the Daley Center downtown and got these filled with hot chocolate to keep us warm while we walked around. Christkindlemarket is a really cool handmade outdoor German market that comes to Chicago in the Winter. It’s really neat to walk around and look at all the goodies while enjoying some authentic German food! I also put a present I wrapped on the bottom of my bar cart. I tried to get really creative with wrapping this year because I just wasn’t feeling the traditional wrapping paper this year. Extra I know. My family will probably make fun of me, but at least they look cute under my tree!

Are you decorating your bar cart for the holidays?

xo, Rach
