ShopBop Sale Picks

shopbop-sale-picks-2

Every time Shopbop has a sale it’s like Christmas. I genuinely love every single piece they sell, but most of it is just not in the grad student budget! However, their sales? #blessed. Today I am talking about some of my favorite Fall/Winter/Year Round pieces included in the sale, that I think make great staple pieces!

Rule #1, splurge only on staple pieces that will always be in style, NOT trendy 2016 pieces. I would not recommend splurging on every single piece of clothing in your closet.

All items, plus a few fun extras from the sale, are included at the bottom of the post! Items are selling out SO quickly and don’t forget the sale only lasts until Thursday!

1. Free People Embroidered Mini Dress

I have been lusting after this dress for a year now! The shade and design make this a perfect year-round dress. I love the idea of wearing it with gladiator sandals in the summer and pairing it with booties in the Fall. You can totally style this for every season and with it being on sale for 40% off, this is a now or never moment to get it!

2. Jeffrey Campbell Booties (click for link)

If you don’t have a go-to pair of booties yet for Fall, I would highly suggest checking these out! I don’t have these, but I know the quality of the brand and can tell you that they will last for seasons to come. However, they are suede and you know you have to be careful with those! I’m obsessed with the block heel on these. One thing I love about block heels is that they are comfy to wear because you have more support!

3. Sam Edelman Lace-up Pumps (click for link)

I have seen these pumps on so many other bloggers and they are just too cute. They can be worn with skinnies to dress up a casual look and are even more perfect paired with a skirt or dress! I love the lace-up and pointed toe look, it’s just so classic. I am imagining these for the holidays, or like the grocery store, too. Right?

4. Jack by BB Dakota Sweater Dress

A sweater dress is a Fall staple! They are so cozy and easy to throw on. I love that this one is so basic and a neutral color. I would dress up with a pair of OTK boots and some fun colorful jewelry!

5. Wonderland Sunglasses

I know nothing about this brand, but these sunnies are stinkin cute. Tortoise shell style has always been in style, and i’m sure it always will be. I love that these have a mix of black, white, and brown, so they literally will match everything you wear.

6. Rails Plaid

I missed out on getting some Rails plaid during the nsale, and I don’t feel like I should have to miss out twice. I don’t usually like plaid or the way it fits me, but I love the Rails brand because their plaid shirts are a much more feminine fit, and the material is so cozy! A plaid shirt for Fall and winter is a must, and if you’ve never heard of Rails, get to your nearest Nordstrom and try on one. You’ll be hooked!

7. Steven Platform Loafers

These are so not in my comfort zone, BUT they are so cute! I don’t like the loafer style, but I love the idea of combining a loafer and a sneaker. It’s a classy look while still being comfy and casual. I think we all get so caught up in boots and booties that we forget to get a pair of slip on shoes for the days we don’t want to get all dressed up. These would be perfect for everyday wear.

8. Blank Denim Ripped Black Denim

I have been looking for the perfect pair of ripped black denim for a while now, and I think I finally found them! I wanted minimal rips and for them to be affordable. I can’t justify spending over $100 on black ripped jeans right now, so I can’t argue with these being 30% off and under $100 before the sale. These are definitely a staple piece because you can style them so many different ways. I love them the most with a t-shirt and slip ons!

9. Tory Burch Wrap Bracelet

I was unsure of whether or not to include this bracelet because of the price, but I just couldn’t ignore it! The light oak and rose gold shades of this bracelet are so gorgeous and classic. You could easily style this with other bracelets you probably already have to create the perfect arm party. While this is a splurge, if you are someone who loves Tory and bracelets in general, this would be a great investment piece for you!

Happy shopping babes!
What do you have your eye on in the Shopbop sale?
