Hey, friends! I’m back today with a skincare post featuring the brand you all have asked me about the most, Tula! I first heard about Tula from other bloggers and saw it so much on my feed about how everyone was just raving about it, so I knew I had to see what the hype was all about. Read my initial review on Tula products here! Fast forward a year and a half later and I am STILL using their cleanser every single day. It’s my absolute favorite and I haven’t even thought about a different cleanser since. Which made me realize, I need to try out some more products! Today I’m chatting about the Tula Clear It Up Acne Clearing and Correcting Gel.
If you’ve read any other beauty post on my site chances are you know that I have struggled with acne since my early 20’s. While I have it under control now for the most part, I definitely still get regular breakouts along my jawline and chin area and have several dark marks on my face. I’m always looking for a beauty product that claims it’s going to stop acne from surfacing and clear up those pesky dark marks. While nothing has completely taken away my acne, I’ve had success with a few products that really have stopped most of my acne and faded some of my dark marks. However, these products usually range from $75-$100+ and when it’s something you have to repurchase so often, it takes quite a hit to the beauty budget!
So when I saw that Tula offered this product and heard that it would clear my acne AND fade my dark marks AND was only $36, I knew I had to see what the hype was all about. First, let’s check out the details.
- Absolutely love the pump on this – cleaner and won’t waste product
- Leaves your skin super soft + is bright by morning
- Leaves my skin a little dry if I use it twice a day – I had to switch to using just once a day
- Started seeing results within a week
Is Tula’s Acne Clearing Gel Worth the Hype?
Totally. Completely. Yes! I am mad at myself for waiting so long to try this product. In about a week I started seeing a reduction in my acne. After a few weeks, I started seeing less breakouts pop up along my jawline and chin area and started noticing the dark marks left after my blemishes fading faster. You have to be a little patient with this product, but it’s worth the wait! There are other good products like this on the market, but not at this low of a price point. I’m really happy with this product and if you’re struggling with acne and the money you are spending fighting it. Try this!
