Hey friends! Happy Monday. Today is a work holiday for me so I am grateful to be able to spend today at home catching up on all the blog things! I’m really excited to be talking about the band tee trend today.
Vintage fashion has been trending for a few years now, and although it’s a very specific style, there’s so many ways you can incorporate the trend into your own person style. My favorite being vintage band tees! I consider my style to be pretty classic so I don’t tend to get too heavy into trends, but I love it when I can incorporate a popular trend into my own personal style.
Band tees have been on the rise lately, and although I couldn’t tell you the name of a Rolling Stones song, I love the tee and the comfy grunge vibe it gives a look. They can also get a little pricey so, today I’m showing you guys 3 ways you can style a band tee. So you can maximize your wear out of it! The band tee I’m wearing is from Revolve and is by the brand Daydreamer. It’s pricey but the material is super soft and I love the oversized fit!

Casual + Classic
The first and most obvious way to style a band tee! Casual and classic with a pair of denim or shorts for summertime. I spruced it up to fit my own style by adding in another trend, a snakeskin belt. I love how the pattern of the belt contrasts with the colors in the tee. It makes the look seem a little bit more put together.

Vintage Grunge + Glam
Mixing two styles that sound like they do not belong together at all, was really fun! Midi skirts are all the rage right now, so why not pair the two trends together?! This pair makes a great casual date night look. I originally had planned to just tuck the tee into the midi skirt, but the tied up version looked so much better! I paired this look with booties but you could easily switch these out for white sneakers for something more casual.

Structured + Relaxed
Can an outfit be structured and relaxed all at the same time?! I think I achieved that with this look! It was comfortable yet I still felt professional and put together thanks to the blazer. I actually wore this outfit to work last Friday and got a lot of compliments on it. If you work in a laid back work environment where you get to wear jeans all the time, this is a great ways to incorporate your band tee into office attire! I will definitely be wearing this again.
I hope this gave you some good inspiration! Do you think you’ll get on the band tee trend?!
